Canary Island Sailing - Late February 2019

Join us in Lanzarote for a great relaxing winter sailing holiday.  This is our eleventh season here and we know how to get the best out of the weather.  It will be warm and sunny, giving you a chance to wear your shorts and T shirts ashore, the trade winds ensure that we have good sailing in the day time, and our hospitality ensures that you have a relaxing time on board.

The aim of the week is to circumnavigate the island of Lanzarote and spend a day ashore on the beautiful island of La Graciosa.  There are 3 marinas on the islands of Lanzarote as well as many beaches and anchorages.  As well as sailing we find time to swim, fish, sunbathe on the beach in a deserted anchorage, visit the local bars for some spanish speciality tapas!

The yacht will be berthed in Marina Rubicon, Lanzarote. Lanzarote is a mere 90 miles off the African coast and situated in the trade wind belt.  This means it is warm, dry and has mainly force 5 winds from the NE.  Great for sailing.

This trip is a real deal at £835,  all inclusive on board.  All meals and snacks, wine with dinner, bedding, towels, waterproof clothing, safety equipment, instruction and harbour dues are included.  Just pay your flights and travel insurance.

Our changeover days give you as much choice as possible with flights, or why not fly a day or two earlier/later and see what Lanzarote has to offer you inland.

After an absence of 5 years from sailing it was an absolute joy to be back on the water again - with great hosts, wonderful company and good wind.  Would I do it again - definitely!!
