A little bit of Caribbean?

Sunhats, t shirts and shorts all made an appearance on more than one day this week as we experienced warm winds and sunshine for most of the trip.  The seats at the back were well used, a great place to sit and take in the ambience of the surrounding beauty that is Lofoten.

This our second 11 night trip from Stokmarknes to Bodo was another excellent trip. With visits to  Stokmarknes, Guvag, Brottoya, Nesoya, Trollfjord, Skrova, Haversand, Stamsund, Nusfjord, Reine, Henningsvaer, Hopen/Kalle, Vettoya and finally Bodo gave us a distance of 217nm on the log and some great sailing.

The dates are just coming together for next year and we expect to publish them soon, once again including these really great one way trips from Bodo to Stokmarknes and return.

What do the guests have to say about it

Wonderful sailing and scenery.  Great trip. good weather. Richard and Lins organisation, welcome, cooking, instruction all were excellent and made for a tip top relaxing experience – not to be missed

Thank you so much for a wonderful journey.  For showing us the Loften with all the beautiful obvious and hidden treasures.  And next to that, and not less important, we would like to thank you for the care, energy and attention you put forward in taking care of us.  You really take good care of your guests and that’s an understatement.  We wish you many more broad reach sailing years to come.
